I am not much into WTA at all, but have really enjoyed Ivanovic-Keys match.
So much heart and great tennes, too.

I am sure....they tend to go for more. The opposite of the average tennis club where finals are often won by the moonballers.

Tomic has excellent hands, excellent serve, easy flat power, down the line shots, high tnnis IQ, lovely slice...all he needs is a slave driver to get his feet going a bit quicker.
I.e. he needs to hire Rasheed asap.

Yonex racquets are very popular nowadays and rightly so.

From the little I tried, I found Yonex better than Head and Babolat.
But not as good as Wilson, esp Prostaff. That is a perfect racquet.

Not for me anymore. The Yonex has a bigger sweet spot, meaning shots are safer and you can keep the ball longer in the racquet and therefore do more with it. You might get more precision with a wilson......if you can hit right in the middle every time.....something Fed can just about do.

Re: Australian Open 2016 - Day 6 (and predictions)
Well...there is an element there, definitely!
At least we have two really great women players: Jankovic and Ivanovic. And I am proud of both!
I have always liked watching them, though they are very different: talented, all court players, not screaming bashers.
Also today, there was not a lot of choice - I tried watching Murray-Sousa but it was a torture...Murray was muscling the ball like a maniac, Sousa was bashing it without engaging his brain...
Ivanovic - Keys was really good. Both played attacking but quality, cerebral, non bashing tennis, Keys won and deserved it as she was a little braver in the end.
I feel sorry for Ana as she was in a winning position when her coach collapsed in her box, match stopped for 1-2 hours...

Well I know I am not Federer (thanks for reminding me!) but that doesn't mean I shouldn't play with Prostaff 95.
I love its weight ratio as it does not feel as heavy as it actually is. And is manouverable, too.
I agree it's a very technical racquet and quite tough on the BH (here I salute the Genius of Roger Federer exponentially every time he hits a BH!), and I am still learning to play with it, but it's a real pleasure! And a beautiful racquet, too.
From memory, Yonex (the one Stan uses) is quite powerful, and certainly easier in the BH and I was very tempted by it...but since I am playing for enjoyment and nit glory&money I will stick with my lovely Wilson.

Re: Australian Open 2016 - Day 6 (and predictions)
What I like about tennis (and table tennis) is controlling, spinning, flatening, etc ...the ball. And I think we can do that better with larger frames and new strings. Something I got used too and enjoy because even at club levels, we have longer rallies nowadays and that's what's fun. Unfortunatly teh pros have pushed it too far.

Yes, you can do so much with the racquet now...and nobody does it as well as Rog.
He is one of the few players that does not abuse spin.
When I was watching Tomic today hit the ball sweetly and effortlessly I racked my brain and struggled to think of 10 other players that have not polluted their ball striking.

Stan is also a clean hitter...on its day. Nalby one of the best.
