As said I created this forum when we got kicked out of v2. But never spent any time developing it so it will be a bit messy until I find time too...and whether it's worth it. Yuo can see SB logged in when I created back then.

It's just difficult to advertose it to other forums. As said I will when I'll have time.

oh that woudl be good. But they have to be aware it's a work in progress.

Some setting needs to be done so that you don't receive all those email notices. BUt that's something you can do or I may do while setting things by default.

I doubt and it would not be nice to Ja's. I did send a link at the beginning. It was midnight, did not refer to anything. ANd no-one noticed it bar SB.

As it is right now, it looks fine.

But it lacks structure.

The articles and discussions make a forum anyway. I was quite proud how ja606 kind of grew and we were vindicated. Not that it bothered me too much, bit it was nice . O love the filter button there, I must admit

We have the filter button here. The difference is that you know who is filtered.

It doesn't have to be flashy from the start, it's simple to register, just need some topics to talk about...and a few more people.

Noit sure how to organise the structure a bit better. For now you have the welcome and the lets talk tennis being a sub topic. In short i don't know how to organise the topics yet.

Told you about my son sharing a taxi with him from Hyde Park to his home (daughters place) last week, He actually did not know who he was long after hanging out with his daughters.

Honestly I m not a big fan of his, never was but as long as he doesn't sing his crap songs I can tolerate. I just find it hilarious that the tennis fan that I am gets to have children who are no fan of tennis but get to party with probably the biggest tennis star in France.

Well you are at the beginning of it! I am really getting less and less interested actually. You may have noticed how my posting got scarcer. I am more interested in how the Armstrong case with his many spanish doctors could fall back on our spanish players.

I can't explain why he played through pain (or whatever niggle he had) in Rome, FO and worse of all Halle. It's probably because he knows his problem won't get better by resting. That's what I find annoying. Look at Haas, 34. Fed woudl still be a very good player without his injury. I really think his career might end abruptly now. If he plays like that, in pain, he won't remain there for long. Which was very different from the feeling I had in just a few weeks ago.

Yep. But he is usually pretty good at managing his schedule and resting when he needs to. The fact he played Halle despite having his favourite tournament next tells me his back problem won't get better if he rests.

I am not sure now blue clay is how he got it. He stopped for 5 weeks to rest it in my view. And maybe the 5 weeks were not enough so now he just tried to play though the pain hoping his back will get tougher and better the more he plays.

It's a kind of make or break strategy. We will find out sooner or later.

After he banned you, I pm'd a couple of guys who seemed to know where you had landed, and they were scared to tell me,, said they were warned not to talk aobut you!! lol......... You must have scared the hell out of Gav or whoever he is!

no, not at all, I was just browsing an article...

myself and veejay were pretty active on bleacher report.. but the nut who I have taken on his name here :-) freaked out and did some crazy stuff to get us banned.... long story.. but basically this guy was presenting himself as a former high level junior player, coach,etc-- and it turns out he's never played a documented match in his life...

LOL!! Well when Gav went after me he admitted he had no reason other than I was alienating teh Nadal fans even if I did not break any rule. He was having all the Nadal fans complaining about me even though I was just exposing Nadal's game and tactics and not really insulting the player directly. So I suddenly sent him a pm cause I knew things were brewing behind my back and told him that as much as some disliked me I was contributing positively to the forum. I initiated that pm really out of the blue completely unaware of the many Nadal fans complaining (apparently 3 or 4 but one in particular which I kept proving wrong Lydian). However Lydian was Gav favourite and was annoyed I got the last word every single time. Even Nadal's comments were contradicting Lydian at the end and the poor guy had nowhere to go and kept threatening to leave cause the forum was too much anti-nadal.

So the response to my pm to Gav was just crazy. Gav suddenly unleashed all his anger and said I was only trouble and though I did not break the rule, was banning me on the spot.

Obviously many posters (I woudl say modestly the vast majority) were pretty upset at my banning and a few left and others threatened to leave. Gav realised then he made a big mistake and resigned from theV2 "Board". But enough posters stuck and he finally rejoined it.

I was really annoyed cause I coudl not care less about Gav and V2 but because we (essentially NITB and I) had really attracted many posters from the original 606 who in turn attracted others. Before NITB and I joined, v2 was simply a Nadal fangirl heaven with absolutely no interesting discussion.

Anyway, I woudl like to recreate a good group here but I have been busy recently. But stick around, we will get some more posters soon. We have to advertise this one to V2 and others.
