US open 2012: ATP Matches of the Day: Day 5
Another day passed and another comback from 0-2 sets down. Roddick announced this US open to be his last tournament as a pro. I think Davydenko is about to announce the same sooner than later. We move on to the Day5. Tsonga became the highest seed to fall. Clearing whatever little hurdle remained in the QF for Murray.
We now have nitb leading the points table. But she is not too far from anyone's reach, except my . Now I'll just pick the one's I don't want to pick.
1. Andy Roddick (USA)[20]
vs.
Bernard Tomic (AUS)
2. Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG)[7]
vs.
Ryan Harrison (USA)
3. Jarkko Nieminen (FIN)
vs.
John Isner (USA)[9]
4. Alexandr Dolgopolov (UKR)[14]
vs.
Marcos Baghdatis (CYP)
5. Gilles Muller (LUX)
vs.
Lleyton Hewitt (AUS)
6. Steve Johnson (USA)
vs.
Ernests Gulbis (LAT)

You need to see the points table SR . I'm in the prediction game since day-1 and I'm virtually on zero points. So we are just about the same.

Easy for you still. You are the table topper and I'm on sub zero.

I'll be happy so long as I'm not last at the end. Even then, I will have made everyone else look good! Who cares But I do like the game as it makes following the tournament totally different for me now, I found myself cheering for players I never would've otherwise (Andreev )
Also, it's quite interesting is to observe other posters and how they react to their highs and lows

You right! It's interesting to see how posters react to their highs and lows. Some play the modest, nonchalent card, showing signs of superstition even!

We'll have to have a trophy presentation at the end and the winner and runner up to give a speech (sponsors, ball-kids thanking the lot!)

More seriously (just noticed my picks differ from nitb by only one so I'd better be right on that one! ):
1. Roddick (and yes you guessed it, this is the one, he is retiring soon so he'd better win, plus you all know by now I don't like Tomic and think he doesn't deserve to be in R2 in the first place!)
2. Del Potro
3. Isner
4. Dolgopolov
5. Hewitt
6. Gulbis

Kohlschreiber - Paire should be a good match. It's on court 13 and I hope it's televised.

Unable to make choices have only one option left: award negative for all possible matches for the day.

Nothing happened, that's the problem Silva is a below par clay-courter without a serve, it's a hot day in NY, so you can imagine the "tennis".

Can't answer for Tenez but I'd say it depends on what you mean by nonchalance, the one that appears to be but is not there or the one that defines your character, I would say, if it is the first, the one who looks like nonchalant is Federer as he makes everything look so easy and effortless. But if you are talking about who is really nonchalant, I would say it is Gulbis (understandably though because of his wealth from birth and lifestyle)

I agree on Gulbis with you and looking at Dolgo it gives me the same idea. He is not bothered, he just comes on the court and plays his game.

Paire Kohli next. I'll watch a bit. I'm already dead so I dn't know how dead I'm going to be tomorrow
