US Open qualifications
Men's qualification is underway with the round of 128 going to be played today. Mr Rosol is playing the qualification and seeded no. 4. There will be another player whose progress I will be following closely if at all he makes one -Yuki Bhambhri.
Are you following anyone or wants a particular player to qualify from the draw?

Re: US Open qualifications
Cant believe Rosol actually has to go through the process of qualifying just to compete
His match with Nadal may have been a freak performance, but in reality thats what he is capable of
I wonder what triggered such a confident performance

That too by beating the 8th seed, a very good result for him and good for him that he did not choke. He is at the right age now so he should start giving results now. Well done Yuki!
Good luck for the rest of the qualifying.

LF, that link is fantastic. Video quality is amazing. I think Yuki is playing tomorrow, I hope he wins tomorrow as well.
Rosol should have been given a wild card.

Re: US Open qualifications
Rosol lost in the qualifiers. Now, what to make out of his win against Nadal. Unbelievable! Yuki lost too <yikes> , somehow Yuki is unable to carry momentum into his matches, not a good sign.

There is a very nice 'Mental Strength' article here. That too to Guido Pella seeded 31 in Qualifying.

Re: US Open qualifications
It is a pity of Tomas RosolĀ“s pulling out. He would be a strong oponent in the main draw. He does not have mental problems as a kind of mental lapse, but he is hardly able to adjust his game to oponent. He always plays the same aggresive a kind of stereotype game. But on his day when the balls go with him, you know...
I hope that he will show us what the game he has next time, just in right moments
