...and he takes the set. Nole looks better now, the metronomic quality is back in his groundstrokes. Andy making more errors now.

Nole breaks yet again; two breaks up now with the finish line firmly in sight. Most likely this one is done.

Congrats.

I glad to hear that Murray takes this bravely. They both are great fighters and deserve I would not mind see them in this order a couple of times at this moment

NOle never let go of his trophy during his speech unlike Murray who gave his plate away before he gave speech.

So, these both look as contenders for next hc sessions. Their level is by a margin better of others.
Nole won absolutely deservedly. He had already 4 BP in the first set, but lost a bit his focus in TB. Decisive moment was 2nd TB and then that he could step up and improved his FH. Gradually he became more confident and started to reign on the court. When Murray´s first serve dropped and also faded out with his FH he was not able to catch with Nole. Nole took control and dominated in the 4th. Nole looked that he could play other 5 sets. When Nole plays with his confidence it is by a margin higher level of Murray.

Of course he did, just watching 3rd set replay, more guts, more fire, more belief. Murray can only last for 2 sets in his best mode. He's got the fitness but not the stamina.
His legs are too big for his style of play at the moment.
I am so proud of Nle. Need to have stg to eat, this champagne is taking over me

congrats to all Novak Djokovic fans. Murray had some chance but he couldn't take it. Perhaps he started to feel the exhaustion of the semis towards the 3rd and 4th sets. But good performance to beat Fed.
It was one good AO.
The best tennis : It still the 1st set played by Wawrinka in the 4th round by a long distance.

Tennis is in a better place with Nole, as opposed to Murray at the top.

Exactly. Murray will be competitive at Wimbledon though. I could see there him and Fed as a replacement that Nole will win FO in the final with Morybundus and Nole´s win in UO.

Rotla, that set was written off by Nole very early due to his shoes, do believe it. But yes this match had many ups and downs and Stan played really well, his the best match ever for sure.

Fed is still best on grass. It should be so. That trophy belongs to a single-backhander .
Glad Nole won his by beating Nadal, though

Murray9/15
