Well that Djoko/Berd's match was quite boring. Not finished yet but I can't see Berd turning it around.

I thought NITB was present on here when Nole and Stan had that mini epic and was complementary to both men

No LK, nothing's good enough for Fed fans. Silence is golden

Not sure about nothing's good. But very sure that Djokovic isn't good enough for certain ..

I had to go out when Almagro was on the verge of making a little history for himself when in the 3rd set he was 5-4 up and getting ready to serve for the match and a place in his first GS semis. Now I come back to see he lost in 5 .

ohhh lalala....NITB you are too sensitive...and caring. It's only a tennis match. Your enthusiam will never upset me. Unfortunately our critics of Nole's game seem to upset you.
Remember...it's only tennis, we are just having fun and we are bigger than the fan game!

It is quite mesmorising how he managed to chuck away such a commanding position. Doubt he will ever have a better chance of making a Slam semi than today. Such a shame and waste.

One of the biggest choke I saw was Almagro v Nadal at the WTF in 2009. It was pathetic. Nadal had lost 3 stones and and Almagro was winning all the way but simply did not allow himself to win. SOmething in him refused to gave him teh win. Nadal did not have to do much.

I suppose that is a good thing - better than playing like that when perfectly healthy. I do not have extremely high opinion of Milos but I was also surprised how abysmal he was.Tenez wrote:....MILOS RAONIC: Just inflammation in the joints.

This explains that. I thought Rao was particularly sluggish.

Re: Australian Open 2013: Matches of the day : Day 9 22-Jan-2013
That was pathetic. He was serving for the match three times (at 5:4 in the third, and then again at 5:4 and 6:5 in the fourth), but got broken every time. Just unreal. That first one at least Ferrer played a decent return game, but those two in the fourth set were sad.Tenez wrote:summerblues wrote:Can he serve it out?
Almagro is a known choker!
