I don't think if we had wanted we coudl have made a top half as boring and weak and teh second one as exciting and tough.
It's really weird.

No...I think the two must have some kind of history....as if they are trying to prove something to each other...Gillou usually pulls the trigger first.

I know...still should get better after this round.
At least you've got Murray to balance it all out a bit

Amazing that I chose Chardy to compare with Murray in this "early career" thread as they are of the same age with both promising players but one shoot up much faster than the other. Yes today Chardy won Delpo and last time he played Murray he won.

I like Chardy, very stylish, just like Benneteau.

I enjoyed the Fed-Tom match. It had a nice rhythm. I really do think Tomic improved, he doesn't have many weaknesses. A powerfull but also smart player.
I heard Federer had a medical time out during the commercial break. Yes, again the lower back.

There's definitely a chemistry of some madness between Monf and Gillou,
I'm really enjoying watching them, esp their faces in slow motion, hilarious!
Simon takes the second set.

Well I wondered when this white Tshirt was put on.
This back is such a problem cause he still plays teh best tennis out there. I m not sure many coudl have contained that FH of tomic today without losing many more feathers.

Yes, and this was a very confident Tomic. He played excellent bp's. The first set Fed played his absolute best imo, but Tomic wasn't far off
Not too kind to the aussies he gave up in the third. I guess that's his weakness: he gets slack when the chips are down

There's absolutely zero grit and perseverance in Tomic. He is very raw and emotionally unstable on the inside.
A good coach may be able to try and mask that with improving his footwork and fitness.

Either being with 6 women in the house or Godzilla´s shouting, that is really difficult choice for him
Poor guy...he must be thinking:endure just this year Ivan, just this year and then you'll be free...in the fishing shed at the bottom of his garden
Ivan should be careful because somebody could replace him in his house soon. I can imagine men crowds waiting for a chance.
There must be sheer schizophrenia in Ivan´s head

I know some other guy with a unstable mindset at that age but won a few slams in the end, 17 that is .
I'm certainly not a fan of Tomic but i can see his potential. I think he'll be a serious threat to Murray and Djoko one day.

The match is hilariouis: Mon can't play forehand, something wrong with his hand/grip, asks for medical help in the middle of the game,Simon goes to his chair and blows his nose at A:40....such homely atmoshpere

Monf rubbing his palm, Simon stretching his quads...I'm beginning to wonder is this a faking/call my bluff competition, great entertainment!

I start to expect Monf will start service from down and chopping. I have not seen ages to see FH slices playing freely and so many in a row. That is a tennis joke.

I think that was because of the blisters, is "better" now that he's had the hand bandaged. I wonder what's gong to be next

I saw this match and there was very little effort from Nole to win it. But yes, his serve is quite bothersome and plays already faster than Fed.
I was surprised how he took control on the court, that was not case playing with Nole. Fed flapped on the court very often which I did not expect it. His back is surely a reason for that.

The heart wants Simon to win, but he is clearly injured but Monfils will have a better chance against Murray in the next round.

Monf making tennis look human for us, having a can of coke while Simon goes for an MTO
Probably didn't have enough time for a big mac.....

If Monf plays with Murray the should start very early like at 8 a.m. their time. I am sure that Murray will adjust his game to Monf FH slice, so they could have a nice slice day
