"A lot of the other strokes I think he does a lot better than I did but I'll give myself a bit of favour with my backhand.
I had one of the better backhands in the game when I was playing, I could use it offensively or defensively, a lot of variations. It was a key shot for me."

You cannot compare 2bh.
Such different conditions, rackets etc.
No mega spin (ala rafa) he had to deal with, a constant barrage towards that wing from dbhb's.
It may have been but it is pure conjecture.

I love how everyone seems to be hitting  a guy while he's down.  Wasn't saying it when Fed was showing the world the greatest ever play in 2006.

I cannot tell which one is better - too much time in between, and memories of Edberg's BH are not fresh enough anymore anyway.

But I love both of their BHs - they are among my all time favorite ones, perhaps the two most favorite ones.
