Djokovic (25) vs Nadal (30)

Guess how many sets for double points.

LS: Nadal in 4.

Good to see Keothavong in the chair.

All in all, tennis has become such a spectacle these days....as someone noticed, it used to be the rich watching the poor and now it's the other way round.

Very interesting to see Nole stand unusually for him far back on Nadal's 1st serve.

So Nadal's going to be having to be aiming serves down the middle if he's to have any joy.

Djokovic just pummelling Nadal. Amazed a couple on here made Nadal favourite. As the majority here said, different beating up on a Berdych than trying to do that with Djokovic.

Case in point that last point. The BH by Nadal would've won the point against anyone else. Size of the challenge that presents itself.

I just wish Nole would turn off his entertaining brain during his matches.
He could've put that ball away any way he liked and broke again, but he had to lob Nadal...mind you, I don't blame him wanting to toy with Nadal...

That was as perfect 1st set as you could want if you are Djokovic.

Nadal not in this match at all. This could be over in 3.

This is pretty much what I expected. Nadal can win points but only by redlining, which can’t be done consistently.

I remember Brad Gilbert saying that Nadal was "the tennis brain". What an idiot. Nadal is clueless once his power is absorbed.

Fed and Djoko have learnt how to play him, or rather how to handle that spin and Nadal has not been able to evolve. Just hitting harder.

I agreed with it.

Looked at Nadal's GS draws since 2017. So in 9 GS, he has faced a top ten player 10 times. Which on the face of it shows if he is faced with serious competition, he is vulnerable.
