My Last Day in The UK as a UK Resident.
That's it. I will be going to France tomorrow for a new chapter in my life. After 28 very happy years in London, in spite of being part of the rat race, I have chosen a new project. A nice farm at the sea side with enough land to keep me busy for the rest of my life.
I am not sure what impact this will have on my participation to this forum. I doubt the internet connection will be nearly as good as now and whether I will have the luxury to be stuck to a computer most of the time. In fact I hope not as this is one of the main reason of my move: get away from my PC.
However as long as Federer plays I will want to share my impressions about it and who knows maybe the short cold Winters there will make me participate more than ever.
Talk to you on the other side......
Tenez

Good luck then, enjoy your farming life, suck as much as you can some state subsidies, make a good living.
You can also post from your Phone...
If you need any seasonal farm workers, give me a shout

Ten you are departing us? Some would be envy of the move I have to say.
All I can say is I wish you luck on your new adventure and that may it bring you many years of success and health. I do hope you continue to participate on this forum, after all you created it.
Let us know how your new adventure is shaping up once you settle down.

Thx LK. Not departing but with a slower connection it makes communicating harder.

It's funny how Federer loses unexpectedly on my first day of my new life. I am entering a new era as Federer s success was something particular to my life. I almost took his success personally... As ridiculous as it may sound.
Though I would've liked him to win another Wimbledon I am not sad at all. It's just the beginning of new times.

Fed was unlucky that Nadal managed to bully his way onto centre when Fed was n1 seed.
Good luck, Tenez!!! And thanks for the forum.
