So new Ashe is louder but playing like indoors now - no wind.

Federer:

"I think it’s going to increase the level of play from all players. If you think about it, probably more so the top players, because you know what to expect and you're not going to have to fight the wind as much. If you don’t have to fight the wind you can play closer to the lines and make it better tennis. So probably it might be better for the top guys, my opinion.
And also just I do feel like it’s quite loud, you know. Maybe in American sports it's quite common that the fans do talk during games or matches. I feel like the roof might bring that back down, so, you know, you hear the crowd speaking more, which before I don’t remember hearing ever."

Murray:

I like the bit when fed says the new generation (Djoko, Nadal and Murray) was a new challenge for him as string and slow conds changed the game.
Exactly what we have been saying here for years.

Compared to Stan, Chung looks like junior hitting partner, although he has nice shots.

Physical gap between the two is huge.
I really don't remember older players ever being so physically superior.

It's clear as daylight most top players are on something.

Berd's, Ferrer's and soon maybe even Nadal's top 10 spots are ripe for taking over but there is nobody to step up to the task.

Nishi's falling to bits, Dimi...I suppose he had enough of being both baby Fed and himself, Raonic...the only thing he hasn't tried is wearing a leotard...

I reckon things will have to shake up next year...

murray is knackered but he still can run for ever....he shoudl typically lose that set very easily...but nowadays you can built like a tank and run for ever. This is a joke.

Depends...if the Kitkat starts to get out of the vending machine and fly on its own, then I'd be suspicious. You have got to be a foul nowadays with all we know about doping and dopers in sport to think you can run like gazelle being built like a rhino!

Fed has the luxury to serve more aces or at least to have very short service games. Sure fed is a more talented.....but even Federer a one in a billion genius is no longer winning slams. he started to lose against those fitter players already way before his peak in 2005.

The courts are so fast that even Haase is doing well v Gasquet.

I suspect that the outside courts are faster than the main courts....once again to favour the top guys.
