Ward winning the TB from 0/3 down. Overall he is playing better than Vesely. Vesely has potential but is not there yet.

Re: Wimbledon Prediction Game: Day 4
I just remembered!!!
Yesterday during Krunic-Errani match (just as I got in at 0:3 in the first set, a group of ball boys were sweeping HAY off the court at the baseline, for about 5 minutes...amazing!
I even have a video of it...

That is always like that. At the USO I usually go middle weekend and once I made a mistake of buying Ashe tickets - and never even stepped inside the stadium. I only buy grounds passes now (mind you, at the USO they cover everything except Ashe; including Armstrong).noleisthebest wrote:Again, best tennis played on small courts, viva ground passes!

The only problem with ground passes, no chance of seeing Fed!
Thankfully, good tickets for O2 are reasonable.

Fed's already playing set 2, obviously dealing fine with Querrey's big serve.

Isn't it nice to watch tennis when the maestro is facing someone with poor mouvement? It makes Federer relax and play his best. As opposed with facing the road runners scrapping all over the place making Federer think too much where to put the ball.

Very true.
But I think that roadrunners have made him an even better player.
Having said that, I hate it to see him struggle against cowardly DBH bludgeoning...which is why I almost never watch those matches.

Like a bird flying free.
Vs roadrunners, like a bird in flying in a small cage.

Did you hear what Henman said about Federer? "With his hands, he is able to time the ball as well as ever whether he is 33, 43 or 53..... but it is to see this great mouvement at 33 which is very impressive".

Yes, Tim never disappoints, he is Fed's biggest fan in BBC.
The thing that saves Fed is he rarely runs, it's usually small steps, and he's honed his footwork to perfection, I often watch just his feet, when he does those scissors fast movements with them to run around his BH...
Watching the slo-mo of that theough the leg shot...even there he intuitively adjusts...his body is quicker than his brain by quite a margin.

Look at Brown's skinny arms!
I saw him practise in Roehampton...in those endless, green fields, and now in CC, I hope he plays a good match.
I wonder what his serve difference is like!
