I must say, we are not going to have a dull match in both QF days...so well balanced:

defenders versus shot-makers.

To me, the closest one will be Ferrer-Murray, followed by Nole-Nadal.

I can't see Fed or Nishi losing tomorrow unless Nishi chokes, which would not surprise me.

Fed will relish his match with Stan.

TSONGA - 80 (Jocker....I am like a gambler who think by doubling the riskier odd he will recover his losses!)

The scheduling is really annoying! Maybe it;s an attempt to be fair but since there is a day in between, it would not hurt much to have an earlier start (12pm instead of 2pm) and start a ladies match at the same time as a men's 1/4F so we can follow both men's 1/4F. With the other 1/4F starting at 3pm for instance....unless forecast is bad of course.

It looks fair to players but only on paper...in reality, they ll have a day of rest before the SF.
I think it was the same last year.

Nothing beats USO Super Saturday for horror scheduling, though...

Or a Thursday start in a GS cause the Weds was rained off. Possibility of 7 * 5 setters in 10 days....

And Tsonga demolishing Nishi, not surprised, actually, just a solid proof now he can't handle power.

I nearly picked Tsonga, but thouthg he'd choke & crumble in front of home crowd like he often does.

Could Stan become a 2 time Major winner? crazy. Fed has a massive chance here with Nishi looking like he's going out.. This would be on par with US Open last year where he let a golden opportunity go by.. Sounds like Stan is on fire though.

Fed's not playing bad.. quite good infact. But just that Stan is playing brilliant and not much Fed can do about it. But Stan has shown lapses, so this is not over... definitely not.

Not a fight on Chatrier.

A piece of the stadium (a metal thing - something about keeping birds out), fell off! Hit lots of people and one guy was bleeding.

Sort out that infrastructure, lucky nobody got hurt!

Chatrier update: apparently the lighting hoarding/panelling fell on a little boy and cut one or both father and son - they've been taken to the hospital.... they can't decide where to put the fans that are under the shoddy overhead lighting now....delay
