Well done NIT for keeping up with the scores.....and regaining the top spot.

I did try to warn you about Raonic  :
Nishi's demolition of Ferrer made it difficult to pick between him and Stan, but I saw Stan play last week and he was so loose and confident, I expected he'd handle Nishi mainly because of court conditions which work perfectly for Stan's game.

MELBOURNE, Australia -- Milos Raonic's sculpted hair is a source of conversation around the tennis tours. It's so famous, in fact, it even has its own spoof Twitter accounts -- @milosraonichair and @Milos--Hair.
And his fellow Canadian, Eugenie Bouchard, has had enough.
Asked about his latest haircut following her first-round win at the Australian Open, Bouchard took aim at Raonic's obsession with styling.
"I made fun of his hair last year. I don't know how it's different now. I just think he spends way too much time worrying about his hair."
More than her?
"Clearly," she deadpanned.
I've had quite a busy/stressful few days this week but tried not to allow points calculation to pile on...it's finished now so I can finally relax and watch the rest of AO.

Honestly I knew Djoko was going to win. I thought Rao had a slim chance and felt I could afford to risk it. My mistake was essentially Nishi...who was as poor as Stan was good.noleisthebest wrote:Tenez wrote:Well done NIT for keeping up with the scores.....and regaining the top spot.

Re: OTF's Australian Open 2015 Prediction Game Scores
I will not be able to log in tomorrow or Sunday until after the final, so here are my picks:
Sharapova (joker)
Andy (joker)
For all other matches (e.g., doubles), please use this algorithm for my picks:
1. Pick the lower seeded team/player
2. If both are unseeded, pick the one that comes first alphabetically
Thanks.

Re: OTF's Australian Open 2015 Prediction Game Scores
I have not got the time nor the desire to work out precise ranking but the good news is we know who won this competition even trying to tank that last day.
Well done NITB. Good in-depth knowledge of the field but also helped by your man here...going all the way for you and winning his 5th AO.
mention to AL, SB, LS and me!
Rotla the previous victor was technically defeated by India Electrics! Shame but your Stan did much better than I thought it would, so cheer up the season is only beginning and as he said he plays better this year than last and is another one who keeps improving at 30!
Well done all other, who I don't even know, for participating.
