ATP 250 MOSELLE OPEN, indoor hard

Renowned for its yellow limestone architecture and for its reputation as 'The Green City,' Metz is a must-see French destination for international visitors. It is also home to the Moselle Open. Players:
Tsonga, Monfils, Chardy, Kohlschreiber, Goffin, Rosol, JJ, Seppi, Vasselin, HPM, Strakhivski, Lajovic, Mannarino, Herbert, Sijsling

A very nice field of players, there should be some entertaining matches.
Hopefully, I won't be talking to myself as I normally do on anything that is a non-slam, non masters 1000 thread...

Yes, I'm talking to YOU!!!!

All people seem to care about is GOAT threads...

Ahh.. right..we should do better nitb.

Good field for a 250 event. I would want a Tsonga vs Kohlschreiber in the finals and Kohli winning it.

Tbh, if people are not interested, I also have better things to do.
Maybe we should only have 1000 and slam threads, what do you think?

I've just had a look at next week's tournaments, both 250, but featuring top ten players including Murray!!!! who obviously wants to recover his ranking.
I can't remember when was the last time Nole played a 250.
I think Nadal did a come back one on clay and so did Federer after Wimbledon.
Anyway...Earnie is playing, looks like we are in for a very exciting end of season with a fight for the remaining WTF spots, as well as a great DC final.
I know Nole has a lot if points to defend, can anyone overtake him for the YEN1?

Just started watching Tsonga Goffin at 4:4 in the 2nd set.
Interesting to see Goffin not wear sweatbands just like Mannarino. In this sweaty, grunting, physical era!

That's what you call effortless...Bubbly

Tie-break.
Goffin playing a very old-fashioned brand of tennis, making Tsonga run from left to right corner, fun to watch!
Would love to see a third set diva

Where there is Monf - there is la fun!

JJ's BH's improved since I saw it last, though. Still, Monf has too much game for him.

I hope for Monf-Goffin final.

This Struff is just another tree...and a reaaaaally dull one, too.

Just tuned in to see Sousa take the set point in the TB (8:6)
Looks like Monf has got his work cut out here.

So it's Goffin-Sousa final tomorrow...who would've thought!

Monf did look pretty tired in that one point I managed to see...

It would be great for Goffin to win, the crowd will be behind him.
I still remember my first RG "experience" last year: Nole-Goffin, and this really loud French football- style fan who was sitting next to me.

It was quite a "contest" diva picked up even by a TV commentator on Serbian TV.
According to my mum, the commentator said: "the crowd is unusually quiet except for the small group in the upper stands Laugh

I'm full of stories, aren't I? Winking
