Djokovic, Agut, Dimitrov, Berdych, Tsonga, Strakovski, Fognini.
I'm off to my low-key SW19 day soon. Got the club tickets for court 3, but the matches are awful there, will try to see Tsonga only, the rest will be milling around watching doubles on small outside courts, may try to sneak in and see Strak-Chardy.
Will probably watch Nole from Henman Hill.

Predictions for today's matches:
1. Simon - Djoko will make it more likely than not, but as a betting person I'd go with Simon on the odds given.
2. Murray - looked good so far, though hasn't met a serious opponent yet
3. Dimitrov - convincing wins against inferior opposition so far, Dolgo will have some chances, if he brings his best game, but Dimi's new found consistency should win out
4. Cilic - Berdych didn't look too convincing vs. Tomic, haven't seen Cilic in action, but believe, he can trouble Berdych
5. Tsonga
6. Strakh (hope you get to see it, NITB, have fun there!)
7. Anderson

not convinced by djokovic at all,he has been very inconsistent in the last few matches
most impressed by roger and venus so far
roger is in tip top shape,he has a real shot for the title with the form he is in
looking at venus, youd never guess that shes 33 and couldnt play last year
this is the best ive seen her play since 07
i hope rosol is still having nightmares after blowing the chance to go 2 set to love up against nadal
what a muppet!

Re: Wimbledon 2014: MOTD Day 5 Fri 27/06/2014
I had a gorgeous day in Wimbledon, the weather was sublime and it made all the difference.
I saw so many players and coaches walking around: Stan, Edberg, Melzer, Higgins, Petko, Nadal on a practice court and someone EVEN THERE looking at his knee as he sat on the chair.
Best of all was taking photo with Llodra and Mahut, esp as Mika spoke a few words of Serbian from the days when he was playing doubles with Zimonjic.
Saw a bit of Fognini-Anderson through a bush of purple and white flowers around the court, Tsonga-Wang on court 3 which is so cute!
Then the entire Strak-Chardy and absolutely loved it, great tennis esp as I was sitting so close, really enjoyed Chardy's FH and hands, very nice guy as well, just like Tsonga who kissed one towel before giving it to a little boy. He is a special player, sad he is playing Nole next
I ended up strolling through a few doubles matches on my way to Henman Hill and a bit of Murray-Agut, leaving after two sets.
I so wanted to stay there forever as it was such a perfect, balmy, summer evening, just to sneak into some little hut and live there for the next 10 days...
It's a funny feeling when you are in there (at least for me), you think nothing can go wrong on a sunny day, not even losses bother you that much.
Everywhere you look you see men wearing RF baseball caps (though he was not playing today), people start looking familiar and you keep wondering where you had seen them before...
Funniest of all was when I got out of Wimbledon complex and walked towards the tube station, I was surprised to see others wearing caps WITHOUT the RF on it....
I even met some B92 journalists who reassured me that "Nole was winning the thing" and that "he isn't playing anything special , because he doesn't need to yet".
Fair enough!

NITB, I try to go to the USO every year, and my favorite time is always midway through the tournament - somewhere around 3rd or maybe 4th round. There is still enough action everywhere so the place feels very festive but, at the same time, you also start seeing top players - say those in top 20 or so - playing each other.
And when the weather is cooperative, the experience can be fabulous.

Re: Wimbledon 2014: MOTD Day 5 Fri 27/06/2014
As always enjoyed your account of the live experiences, NITB. Keep them coming.
Stakh-Chardy had some very nice points from the bits I have seen here and there.
Match of the day for me: Dolgopolov - Dimitrov was closer than I expected, an almost upset, with the exception of the 5th set, where Dolgo couldn't win more than 8 points. He seems to have run out of gas there, which I feared already at the end of the fourth set. Anyway, don't believe Dimitrov will win this year, looked too shaky vs. Dolgo.
Upset of the day: Cilic - Berdych, though not really an upset since I predicted it. So no chance for Berdych to make his way into a second final.
