Re: ATP MASTERS 1000: Monte Carlo
Just started watching now 2:3, Nadal serving, so he must have broken back. Sweating like mad....

28 seconds ON AVERAGE between points...come on Bernardes show some ba**s!!!!!!!
T, did you see the size od that vein running down the middle of Nadal's left bicep...it's bulging out even in a relaxed position...makes that shot of Verdasco jumping in the pool look pale in compariso.

Nadal's tennis is lamer than ever, yet the sheer physicality even on those safe mid court shots have already tired Ferrer....

crowd is backing Ferru, but likely just coz they don't want to see a clean sweep.

I think they back him because he tries to create. NAdal is just squeezing, but surely he'll win.raiders_of_the_lost_ark wrote:crowd is backing Ferru, but likely just coz they don't want to see a clean sweep.

And Ferrer wins the tie, Well done Ferrer! And well deserved, he got bp's in almost every service game of Nadal.
Nadal plays sh!tty, even by his standards.

I can't put my finger on what's wrong with Nadal, I can only say he is playing with zero confidence. May it long continue....Just hope Ferrer can cope physically another set.

Nadal feels he does not have the bodypower he needs, that's why he hangs his head.
Where's the willpower now?

The ultimate choke was when he stopped play on his own match point against Murray...and lost it.

Well, he could topple that choke big time today. If he still manages to lose this match, then there's no point for him to continue playing tennis at professional levelnoleisthebest wrote:The ultimate choke was when he stopped play on his own match point against Murray...and lost it.

Re: ATP MASTERS 1000: Monte Carlo
So happy for Ferrer. You could see he had his heart in his throat on the last serve, couldn't even toss the ball.
And his pooooooor mum in the crowd!
I can't remember the last time Nadal lost on clay this early, was it RG against Sod?
Feels really weird to have two more matches to watch, then the semis, final....so used to seeing him in the finals on clay...
The magic of 2014 continues

Re: ATP MASTERS 1000: Monte Carlo
I wonder if that demolition in Miami had anything to do with this "performance"...
So, Nadal starts losing points on clay. Has the long due & forecasted Slippery Slope aka Beginning of the End finally started?

Tsonga came out with a gameplan this time, not an original one though: hit as many balls as possible to Fed's BH

6-2 is really flattering for Tsonga. Roger could have broken Tsonga twice

I noticed in the last game, I thought only Nadal had the rights to those....
Still, I'd like Fed to turn this around, he looks half-interested for some reason, though.

I still don't know how Fed managed to lose to Tsonga so convincingly in RG last year.
It was a terrible match.

Tsonga has such an uncontrolled game but gets all the lucky breaks so far.

It's annoying me, I can imagine him!
I reckon he was S&V-ing in the last game out of sheer frustration.

In a 10 minute replay of highlight of this match, Tsonga would be winning 2 points and Federer 25...yet Tsonga is 6-2 3-2 ahead. It's bizar
