Re: ATP 250: Bastad, Stuttgart, Newport
Well, there is at least one nice match on today (and it's even on grass!); hopefully I'll be able to find a stream for it.
In Newport: Mannarino v Blake

Re: ATP 250: Bastad, Stuttgart, Newport
Well it was Mannariono in 3 sets yesterday, and there was no stream to see it
Today in Stuttgart (10.00 AM)
Rosol-Bellucci (was he injured?)
HP Mathiey-Monfils
Granollers-Gulbis (what a combo!)
In Bastad, Karlovic coming back from his mono break and playing Vasselin. He thanked God for allowing him another chance (and was a bit disappointed Wimbledon denied him a WC, what did he expect after daring to speak out against the horrible injustice he suffered against Murray last year....)
In Newport yesterday Isner bt Harrison in straights.

And Paire wins in straight sets.
It was so good to watch him after some time, he plays such elegant and exciting tennis.

Re: ATP 250: Bastad, Stuttgart, Newport
A dissapointing self-destructing loss from Paire.
Hate to see a better player go like that
Reminds me of Gulbis a little: does not seem to have the same focus in smaller tournaments as well as in bigger.
Still, played some great tennis.

Before the match Paire had a 0-3 losing h2h against Hunescu. This loss is not much surprise.

I believe those 3 losses must come from before Paire's breakthrough. Did you watch the match today?

Hanescu is a great player in my view. Much better than his ranking suggests but he also had fitness issues.

To me Hanescu is OK but nothing more. A bit of old school, but kind of predictable when watching him play.
Paire made him look very wooden and bland today. Even 1D.
