Luthi is his coach, more so than Anacone. But Luthi is also Davis cup captain, so he's supporting Wawrinka too. Still weird he's next to the opponants coach

Such a pleasure to watch these two....some really superb tennis!

On another note, I was really impressed with that physio, how fast he managed to diagnose which muscle was causing Stan trouble just by manipulating his neck.

Exactly. It's that running that kept him winning until the end of the first set...but eventually it got the better of him.

I only saw the third set. He played the first game (Nishi was serving) like Novak. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Then he served and played one of the best games I have seen him play, the old Fed. There were some stunning BHs.
Then it all happened very fast.
Nishi stuck to his bread&butter safe but good tennis, Fed missed a few lines and that was it.
It looked like Fed was playing with the wind behind him in that sunny half of the court, Nishi was very good and fast, though too, so made life difficult for Fed who definitely was not in the mood to grind and suffer today.

It would be really interesting if players' power/energy output in a match could be calculated, like you can with cars and petrol.
Murray would be the least efficient car of all.

How many times Murray shout a weird sound when the ball is close to the line....he clearly shouted out to unsettle his opponent. That is a Gilbert trick, clearly.

Order of play for tomorrow:

Nadal-Ferrer ( Laugh )
Andujar-Nishikori ( erm )
Murray/Simon-Berdych ( 2cents )
Wawrinka-Tsonga ( cracker )

these 8 names in the QF...who would've guessed...draw-riggers, I suppose!
