Well it's officially day 6 and as usual, women are hogging the best watching slots at least for us in the northern hemisphere!
Talking of Northern hemisphere, I just thought I'd let you know I won The Artcic Open today According to one observer, this is how it went:
[in a broadcaster's voice] "... and now noleisthebest dives for the
ball at the net as it nips the cord... he taps it over, and... it's...
IN! Noleisthebest wins the Arctic Open!"
https://s1118.photobucket.com/albums/k619/noleisthebest/ .
(in noleisthebest's voice): YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!!!!!!

Okey, dokey.....Azarenka has finally dispatched Hampton in three sets.
Serena, don't waste any time against Morita, please, just be your good demolishing self in the next hour.
Elsewhere, Gasquet downed in the first set by Dodig.

Amazing! Federer coudl have won that second set 6/0 but is 3/4 down! That again is great determination from Tomic...and careless from Federer!

Tomic´s game is a pretty bothersome. His wide serve opens the court for winners, pretty flat pacy strokes and killing mindset and such long hands. If he can improve a bit consistency then he can. Really difficult to play with him.

Tomic can generate so much easy power on his FH. Like Delpo but looking much more effortless.
He makes Federer move a lot! Fed better win this 2 set.

Federer had BPs on every singe game, except one where he was 30/up with a lucky net call from Tomic that coudl have given him 3 other BPs. It reminds me this match v Haas at teh FO where Fed was playng so much better winning 20% more points yet found himself 2 sets down.

I think you would have enjoyed seeing enraged Murray last night. He was worse than ever. Plus Berankis played really, really beautifully, I am so impressed with him.

Not a goof match for Fed. He is getting tired. He will deny it but that is many fast miles in his legs....but he did very well to turn that TB around.

This is a very similar pattern from that Hopman Cup match against Djokovic: Tomic very good at slowing things down...to suit his lazy self!

He definitely has a problem. You can see that his serving is not as smooth.
And in one of his previous matches (he was winning comfortably, it could've been Davy) he looked at his box with a bit of panic in his eyes at one stage.

Again, don't forget that Federer could really have won that 2set 60 but just scrapped through in a TB. This shows teh difference between Tomic and the lower ranked players....much stronger believer of his chance and destiny.

Agree. Wilander say he is moving very well....and I agree but maybe it affects his back essentially.

Yes, he has. I can see that Fed plays more carefully, standing more behind the BL. If he is forced to run he loses his swiftness, just back is a hitch. But still enough for Tomic, how long..

Murray is not a natural athlete, so he has to pile on flesh to gain strength just like millions of gym wannabes.
Nole is a born athlete and has lovely long muscles and agility, so works more on stamina/cardio endurance than power.
