LS, nice article. Here is one comment from someone who could not write one:
How tennis knowledgeable is your target audience? The article had more meat than many similar articles one finds on the internet, but I thought it also made some assumptions that would not be obvious to someone who does not follow tennis closely.
Specifically, there is an implicit assumption in it that Novak and Rafa's strength is their defence. I am not sure whether that is commonly understood to be the case - especially in Novak's case.

Cheers SB.
So as it is an Aussie website, tennis is quite low down the list in terms of popularity.
There are quite a few top writers (people who have written many books on a vast array of sports) but I wouldn't say the audience is super knowledgeable.
Maybe my bias was slipping in

Its mostly form on the day for Fed. If he can down Djokovic and has an easy win in SF, he will have a good chance whoever he gets in the final.

Was being tooooo optimistic. He can't even beat Anderson being 2-0 sets and having a MP n the 3rd. He can't beat an absolutely ordinary Djoko coz he himself was so bad.raiders_of_the_lost_ark wrote:Its mostly form on the day for Fed. He can't beat Millman being a set up serving for 2nd set, gets broken and those all downhill. He is playing like he did in 2013 when the back injury was hurting him. Only this time its not the injury, but lack of match play, low confidence and not match-fit.

he looked impaired once again. He seems to freeze as the match goes on.
