Becker: What a piece of S......

Post by Tenez on Fri Jun 15, 2018 12:29 am

Never liked him. I was in my late teens early 20s when he came to fame but already then I could see something of a cheat and a bully in him. Again diametrically opposed to Edberg (remember that bi-polar world?).

And when one ages we can see the faults amplifying.

He is now trying to evade his debtors based on what he achieved in his youth!

I remember when he was at the very top of his game, my brother saw him arguing about the price of his bill in a Paris cafe. he was a millionaire back then but was disputing the price of his orange juice. When he was part of Volkl racquet company he argued with everybody there and brought the company to bankruptcy.

Looks like a pretty low stunt from somebody who has racked up debts and isn't keen on facing up to the consequences of that - he talks about anonymous and unaccountable bankers and bureaucrats.  Maybe his original creditors sold the debts on to others who are less forgiving, and for the genuinely poor debt can be unavoidable, but it's difficult to have sympathy for somebody who has made so much money and seems to have lived a rather chaotic and selfish life.

Doesn't stop me remembering with pleasure his on-court contribution to the great rivalries and being a participant in some great matches of the 1980's-early 1990's.

Yeah, little sympathy here. The reports I’ve read previously said he’d been given lots of time to pay and just kept reneging on promises to do so. Recent articles say he owes circa £50 million. His protestations don’t sound as though he disputes he owes the debt and he now seems to have found a way to avoid being sued for his debts. Pretty morally reprehensible behaviour.

His behaviour is despicable. I detest people who do not honour their obligations, and a debt is an obligation. Now he seeks to appeal to childish prejuduces by calling his creditors faceless and anonymous bankers, as if to detract from the reality that he has spent enormous sums of money he doesn't have.

That behaviour marks him out as an untrustworthy person and it's abysmal that the BBC will entertain his presence and there'll be banter a'plenty with the liar.

Perhaps his creditors should just sell the debt at a steep discount to some Russian financiers and leave it to them. I'm sure they'll be very impressed with his diplomatic credentials.

Edberg was one of my favorite players; never liked Becker much.  I remember their three Wimbledon finals.  Will never forget their 1990 match.  Becker was up an early break in the 5th set but Edberg came back to win.

More news from the crook!

https://fr.sports.yahoo.com/news/tennis-passeport-diplomatique-boris-becker-114000337.html?hl=1&noRedirect=1

In short his "diplomatic" passport from Central Africa seems to be a fake.

You’ve really got it for BB, haven’t you! Laugh

The question is, will he be commentating for the BBC during Wimbledon?

Well what kind of people you expect around DJoko? fake wife, fake gurus, fake coaches, Becker pumping his public profile out of nowhere being with Djoko and sucking money from him without doing shit.
