THis group is nuts!
Mexico 3-0 to the Swedes and Germany are minutes away from going out. I can see another stoppage time goal coming though Sad

I dont know... Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico did play well some matches

of course, the best so far belgium and probably sweden and croatia. england not bad either, and france are strong but not beautiful to watch

portugal, spain, argentina for me were the worst quality of those in next round, but this may change now, who knows

hopefully you right. However knowing the French they will probably mess it up down the way, most likely in the final. I have not watched a single match of France so far due to constant moving around.....The French team was not too impressive in the first rounds.

This Mbappe looks pretty good.

Well if this:

wasn't a penalty, that softish shirt pull in Spanish box certainly wasn't either. The German ref actually refused control room's call for VAR.
So I am glad Germany are out. (sorry GP and SB!)

Russia's nobodies overachieved by playing with all they had while Spanish divas couldn't even score penalties.

Both were a foul NITB.

Remember, playing within the rules applies to all who aspire to purity smiley

De Gea should've done better in the shoot out. 3 of the Russian penalties were down the middle.

Credit to the Russians. Played for the draw and bet their chances on penalties. Bold move and paid off.

Because it's the human factor again.

So many decisions have been bottled during this World Cup and VAR if anything else has highlighted the ineptness and lack of courage referees have. They have the tech, so the excuse of not being able to see it is no longer there and what we are left with is weak referees. That clip above is one of many decisions referees have bottled.

Say for example if you had the shot clock. Do you honestly believe the umpires would act every single time??

Officiating is going one way...… Robots!

I have to say it's fucking hilarious listening to the commentators lamenting how 'dirty' the Colombians are whilst blatantly ignoring all the equally dirty fouling and diving that England are doing.

The English players have been just as bad as the Colombians, but apparently according to Clive Tildesley 'it's two completely different footballing cultures' ie. we're honest and hardworking whilst they're sly cheating foreigners. Such a load of shit.

Most of the teams this tournament have been nothing short of a fucking disgrace! Never seen such ill discipline and bad sportsmanship at a World Cup in my life!

It's why Japan vs Belgium was so refreshing. None of this shit behaviour.

The linesmen need to step in when players hound the refs. It's one thing VAR has encouraged is pack mentality hounding of refs when a penalty is given/not given.

England have had the easiest draw since Nadal's US Open last year.

And they'll be found out.  Even if "we" get to the final, we'll be crushed.

1. We have the shittest media.
2. We have annoying in-your-face fans. It's coming home. No... it ain't.
3. We have an average team
4. We had a piss easy draw
5. Gareth is a nice guy and a decent manager but he can't overcome the above - and he continued to play Sterling and Rashford on name and not form.
6. Crotia can pass and we hoof.
7. Anyone who thought we had a prayer is deluded.
8. Noel Gallagher was right again. Liam Gallagher was wrong again.

Main tactical problem was playing Sterling and Rashford.... on name and not form.

But that was best chance England will ever have to reach a final with an average squad.  We simply can't pass.  I spotted it from day 1 and in that extra time, it was the deciding factor.  They danced around us.

No-one wants to talk about reality though. The media and fans... they see results.  Not form. Not substance. Not reality.  My cousin is a right football nut.  Likes to see himself as a guru... But he isn't able to say after a win "They were an average team and we are getting away with bad passes and mistakes we will eventually be found out for"  and so really he isn't a guru... he;s just a mindless sheep.

And until we get rid of mindless sheep, we will be average.
