You pick winner of each match each day.  If you get it right, you get the points in parentheses.  E.g., in the Goffin-Haase match-up, you pick Goffin and he wins, you get 8 points.  But if you pick Haase and he wins, you get 33 points.  The point differential tries to make it more difficult to pick - if it was same points for Goffin and Haase, almost everyone would pick Goffin.

I do not know to pick from these matches, but if I can predict correctly - already today - the winner of men's title do I get some juicy extra points?

So glad I did not pick Konta...more so that she actually lost!

Terrible match between Ostapenko and Kozlova. Half empty stands.
Cameraman, in the absence of drama and excitement, keeps showing Kozlova’s huge raw blister across the whole screen during her MTO.
Is there an end to this ugliness....

The only hope of any decent tennis today may be Goffin-Hasse.

I can’t wait for Wimbledon!

p.s.
Kyrgios also withdrew from RG
For the first time in a slam, there are many names in today’s order of play I have never heard of.

I worked out what it is with Hasse, he doesn’t have the killer instinct.

He could have won this match in straight sets.

Maybe he was injured like today vs Goffin.
He played the last two sets on one leg.

Goffan is good but he chokes and overhits his flat shots...and that’s the end of him as any kind of serious title threat.

Ostapenko out with a bang...she is a bit like a woman’s version of Stan.
When she is good, she is very, very good!

I hope we get to see Stan in God mode once more in bis career!

Haase is a gent, not a dirty player.
Nadal would have made a spectacle of himself as he usually does when he is losing.

She is but not in a disparaging way you portray her.

At the end of the day 99% of WTA are bashers now. Esp the title winning ones.
That’s the name of the game for women with these new strings and large racquets.

Ostapenko has a lot of character and heart and she bashes fearlessly into corners.
This year she added spin into her shots and it’s not working for her.

I like her but I like player who control their power: Fed, Nalby, Stan or evem Chung. Osta's game is too dependant on her form of the day.

I think she was most likely very nervous having to defend her slam....maybe this is going to free her game now that she is back to square 1.

Saw it coming last year when she won the RG. A lot of young champions missed the important character buildup due to winning early and then crumble under pressure. This is seen a lot clearer on the Junior slam winners when they are unable to handle it on the pro circuit.

For this reason ( and I think even Fed would agree) his start to winning Slams at almost 22 helped him in the longer, building the needed character.

And this is also why Nadal was the most special teen.
