Where is Fed playing this year?
Hi boys and gals.
Want to see Fed before retires once more.
Halle no good for me due to work, W no tickets, US too far away, been to Basel in 2011 so don't wanna go same place again.
Where else is he playing, Shanghai? Too far again, WTF can't plan that long ahead. Paris Masters maybe?
Hoped he would play MC and drive to there and see him and go spit in front of Djokos apartment door but he ain't doing MC.
Am I stuck with not seeing him then this year? suucksssss, thx

Why the hurry? Fed is not retiring before 2020, so relax and plan what works best for you.

Stuttgart between 11-17 July is a likely stop - but better make sure you are there for the early rounds because he is likely to be rusty and treat it largely as a warm-up for Halle and Wimbledon.
Otherwise my guess is same as last year but dropping Canada:
Stuttgart
Halle
Wimbledon
Cincinnati
USO
Shanghai
Basel
London

Re: Where is Fed playing this year?
I think you are right to want to see Fed this year, as we really have no guarantee of anything for the future.
Your best bet is to make an effort to go to Halle if you are based in Switzerland.
He'll play well there, he always does.
I just think he will be too tired to “fly” after Wimbledon, especially if he wins it.
The thing with "old" Fed is just like he picks his battles, so should those who go to watch him...which is why I went to Rotterdam. I knew he was in good form and was going to play for a big thing and be super-motivated.
Likewise, I could've gone and watched him in London last November but I didn't...he was tired and injured...and I really wasn't that desperate.
Wimbledon should be good as always, but in later rounds, and for that you would need to go and camp in order to get a good seat.
CC is funny as not even super expensive debenture tickets will give you the close up view you can get in smaller tournaments, and for me personally, it's the close-up that is worth everything..
Funnily, I think the people that get tickets queying in tents are the ones that get those vey best seats in CC, next to the courtside...they are better than even in boxes!

Agreed. Of course, if the FO wasn't so close to Wimbledon, I am fairly sure he'd enter it. But, alas, it isn't - and he is not going to ruin his chances of Wimb 9.

Re: Where is Fed playing this year?
Thanks for the replies people. The retire at 2020 seems good hahaha
So some new options and some new hope he might play next year too, maybe attack a few ATP 500/250 for another 3 years and break all the records
Good weekend to all
