It's even more frightening how the egomaniac is praising herself and even dubbing herself wonder woman.  I'd say Stupid Woman, because bad people can be carrying knives and all sorts. Her head is so far up her own arse that she doesn't even think - she just rushes in with that obnoxious attitude of hers.

She certainly wasn't that brave when the testers knocked on her door one morning...locked herself in the panic room.

They're really milking this story like she's some super hero.  Gotta laugh.  Funny how the media sweep that under the carpet though.

Isn't it peculiar how they target the less known players with suspension?

The well known players will always get away with it!

Yes. it's not so much the lesser players as much as the weakest players which get caught!

That's what I find hilarious. If Mahut dopes.....imagine the top guys.

Mahut has had some good results recently, I was surprised by some of his wins.

Getting extra fitness is now just another tick on players' CVs.

But they are not all doped.

Sure but if an S&v player is on it, that ain't good for the rest is it?

Doesn't mean he's doping mind, could just be unorgansed.

Re: Tennis News

I'm pretty sure he is.
When I saw him last he was spending much more time on the baseline than at the net.
And didn't look in a hurry.
Pierre-Huges Herbert isn't.

Gasquet is another case.
And who was the first one to comment on it? - Djokovic! Of course they all call it fitness or "level of preparation" now.

I don't mind players having to resort to increasing their endurance level now - they are just trying to keep up with the "Untouchables".

I think doping has become a thing of affordability, too.
Not many can have access to "the best stuff", hence such a wide range of "results".

But I think most of the "middle-range" users or "beginners" are able to last longer with it.
Additional "benefits" such as belting the ball for long periods of time like Nadal or Murray probably require more sophisticated and expensive methods: stem cell treatments, blood transfusions...
I am really fumbling in the dark here, but you could throw some light on it.

Sure but the chance is close to nil based on what I can see. He clearly got tired quicker than any of the player he played. So I am not sure why having the most energy friendly game he got such a poor 5 setter record.

If he was keen to juice, he would juice with the best stuff out there. And clearly he is not very good at doping if he does.

And I don;t think he woudl have voluntarily asked for keeping his urine samples for 10 years. It;s clear that he did this very much to prove a point about him...and about his opponents. 10 years is a huge time in science and he woudl seriously have exposed himself badly there if he was doping.

Dope only helps the physical aspect, not timing.

In current climate, on slow courts, top Fed lasts a set against a physical player.
After that he starts to fade. That's how much doping has advanced - it's making  him look antiquated which lazy viewers brand as old & declining.
Only someone clean would play like that. He is an outstanding athlete with fantastic build and exceptional fitness - his footwork is the proof.

Can't you see how drained he looked in both last Wimbledon finals?
It's only his lion's heart that never tires.

Doping not everything but some players make more of it than others.

For me, it's interesting to now observe how players benefit from doping different ways.
In a way, now that almost everyone has caught up - they are making life more difficult for each other.
They can't put the ball away past each other - so they have to take more risk.
That's what I mean by players improving and playing faster, higher quality of tennis.

Yes but you are comparing him to the most doped and fittest guy on tour in Novak.

I think he could be on something but I just dont believe at the top of the game in most sports you can be clean. Despite insane talent.

What makes you say Nole is the most doped?
I think Nadal and Murray are ahead of him.

He is just a better player with a more energy efficient game than them.
Look no further than the size of their biceps.

As for insane talent, do not underestimate it.
He is really that good.

Doped players have made him even better, that's the only advantage.
If they all went clean overnight, Fed'd still win absolutely everything.

If Fed doped, he wouldn't need to play high-risk volleying tennis, SABR etc...he'd camp on the baseline and last forever, draining opponents with bis superior shotmaking.
Ferrer is doing exactly that minus the "insane" talent.

You know what's funny?

I posted that clip without watching it.

Then, when I finally got time to see it, I didn't like what I saw...
In the first game, Fed was missing first serve, netting volleys, and Nadal was bludgeoning the ball like mad and landing them in with that crazy spin.
I then fast forwarded the clip and saw Fed lose in some "shoot-out" and his dropped face at the hand-shake...so I deleted the post. Blush

Federer releases schedule and no clay tournamnets except for French Open!  Totally off tour all of april and most of may.    A sign of many things.   He doesn't feel he can or needs to win the clay masters,  protection against fatigue for the grass season and the packed Olympic,us open period, a sign of reducing his schedule and no longer caring about a top 3 rank.

Very wise scheduling from Fed.

He still has a big chunk of non stop play from RG all the way to post USO.

His only chance to do well next year and in 2017 really is to spare his body fom all the unnecessary grinding of 1000 clay masters.
He loathed those balls in RG last year.

That's where Nadal will pounce and try to build momentum.

I disagree with Federer not caring about number three ranking as he has chosen to play back to back: Toronto, Rio, Cncinatti as well as USO.
Plus all 5 weeks on grass.

Probably his last year where we can all dream of him winning a slam.

Probably his last year then, cause his ranking is going to go down a big way and things will only get tougher for him.

Frankly I have turned the page already so I don;t care much. Just a shame he did not win any of the 2 slam finals he disputed this year. He certainly deserved at least one.

Same here.  I will still be hoping he finds a slam somewhere, but it is looking increasingly less realistic.  It is a shame he could not find #18 in 2014/15.  Between W and USO in those two years, he made three finals.  He only failed to make the final at the USO 14, and even there he only had Cilic and Nishi between him and the title.  So really four tournaments where he had a chance; and they yielded zero slams.

Oh well.

I disagree that he deserved to win a Slam this year - and I'm one of his biggest fans.  I thought he was too nervous and wreckless at key moments and especially on break points. And his serve was a let down. He could have easily won one of them if he had come with his A game - but he didn't.

Come on, a 34 year old Fed deserved a slam in 2015.

Djokovic knows, Nadal knows, Myrray knows, the birds on the trees know, (even NITB knows!  Winking):

Roger is the best!

Looking at his slams record.....it's absurd: 9 slams on clay?!!!! Impossible to beat!

Yet it's so easy for the fittest to win on clay. Just stand back and retrieve everything while making sure the opponent does the running as well.

Tennis wise there is no value in winning on clay as a moonballer. Wilander and Chang did it even serving under arm while not even 18yo.

However winning at the FO when being a shot maker is worth tons.

I don't think it's easy to win 9 slams at the French Open by just being fit....  or Djokovic, Murray, and dozens of other players (including Federer) would have more French Open titles. Nadal isn't just fit.  He has absurd defensive skills that are not being given their due. I hate the retard. He's a gamesmanship lout. But that doesn't change the fact that he the greatest defender in the history of the sport.

He has a lot of talent to do it.  It's not the same talent - or as much talent - as Federer or Borg, but using those two freaks to judge another player is hardly fair.
