Dunno which but I suspect they’ll still be running late tomorrow evening.
Keeping up with either of those girls is not a job for the faint hearted, though for Caroline I’d give it everything I had.

At least her excuse is she’s female.
I find this curiously fascinating. Is it possible to rally Woz into the ground? I very much doubt it,

She can cover so much ground and yet never looks breathless.

Not surprising if Halep is feeling this after her earlier rounds.

Poor match really. Nothing like the spectacle between Kerber and Halep.

Re: Aus Open: Women's final
Woz has the better BH, fitness (at the moment) but chokes endlessly
Halep has the better serve, FH but feels the semi.
I guess Halep will prevail though, she's the tougher warrior

And Woz it is. She was lucky she didn't have to serve it out. She would have choked.

I'd say the fitter retriever. Halep had spent too much energy before this finalluvsports! wrote:The better retriever wins.

Yeah. I’ll be hoping Halep gets a Slam soon, she’s been so close. Very graceful in defeat too.

Sad to see Halep loose, she was the better play, Woz just never turned me on, bit of a blond cow.

Re: Aus Open: Women's final
I didn’t see the final but knew Halep had no chance, she is a big choker.
I wanted her to win, mainly as she seems to be paying for Naste’s comments with being given difficult draws, and is carrying the whole Romania on her back (similar to Nole with Serbia, Dimi&Bulgaria etc).
Tennis wise boh players are weaponless, dull to watch, scared of the net.

She had a bad start....and was 0/3 down. Nerves probably as you said....but she still managed to come back and just lost the 1st set in a close TB. Had she won it, she could have won it in 2. So saying she had "no chance" is a bit too much...even if indeed she lost.

Re: Aus Open: Women's final
That was her third slam final in a row she lost.
She could’ve been 5:0 up and she’d have still found the way to lose.
She just can’t cross the line
