I’m not in this but I genuinely think Edmund has a shot at this. He just has to keep away from Cilic backhand (because then it’s coming to his) and wait for his head to explode.

I doubt Edmund has a chance....though Cilic will do his best to help him!

It's hard to know how you can say that with a straight face about a Slam winner who is in the SF of the latest slam....

I think Edmund does have a chance. He looked quite good to me - much improved relative to the last time I saw him. He also has decent firepower so Cilic will not entirely overwhelm him. Still, Cilic is the favorite.

Maybe 60/40 for me.

Lets hope Kyle can do it, would be a great thing after Andy's situation.

Experience winning out here.

Think Kyle is destined to be the new British tennis heartbreak!

Could be almost a 5 day rest before the final for Cilic.

Umpire was right, unless the mic is miles away. That sound comes well after impact.

Umpire bit of a baffoon!

Kyle's pace on his shots is down by 8kph apparently. May as well be Cilic's hitting partner.

Yeah, he’s a passenger in this match. That can only be some kind of strain.

It makes it impossible to assess Cilic.

Unlucky for Edmund, gives Cilic two serves when the rally was even.

All done here, 2:0, Kyle a bit down today, can;t see his focus and will like his last matches, but pretty good to come to SF anyway.

Easy for Cilic. I don’t think he has much chance against Fed but looks like he should at least get there well-rested.

This is really not a good standard match, especially for a Slam semi. Edmund has just been worse than Cilic.

Cilic looking good to be crushed by Fed on this level of play.

Cilic will cause Fed some trouble on his BH....that's Cilic's only chance. If Cilic happens to play Chung, he will lose. He can't keep the ball in court long enough.

That was a really poor match. I know the commentators can’t trash the product but seriously I’d be happy if Cilic produced that standard on Sunday if Feds on the other side.

Did anyone see women’s SF?

I saw last 5-6 games of Halep-Kerber and it was vile.

So much grunting so few winners.

Net area was a mine zone.

I couldn't believe it.

I picked it up at 5/3 halep in the 3rd.....and from there she managed to have to save MPs. What a joke mental wise. Kerber was not very impressive....did too much running.

I was impressed by Halep, she went for winners in the tightest of situations. She has very big guts, can hit big shots when she chooses, and by God can she run!

Hey luvsports, do your thing for sf2. We mortals are waiting on you. Big Grin

Pleased that one of these two long-serving no. 1’s will get a slam on Saturday. Not a particular fan of either of their games, but each has put in the miles to make the best of themselves. Nice to see that rewarded once in a while.
