No no SB, sorry I was unclear.
By 'people' I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about Tenez et co. (who are convinced of this conspiracy)
Apologies, I should have made that clearer.

But my main point still remains, as the article shows it is possible to help hand-eye co-ordination in tennis.
As you state, and I fully agree with you, PEDs to help endurance are probably more well known, but I think the top players, if they did have the support of ATP and WADA in taking PEDs, could take anything (i.e. substances that help both endurance and hand-eye co-ordination).

No problem, I understood that bit. I just thought you left my question unanswered (you did address it in your subsequent post since then).

Sorry to keep nagging but I am still a bit unclear on your take on this. Yes, fair enough, if a sport (tennis or any other sport) did not have stringent enough anti-doping rules, then athletes might be able to take all kinds of substances. I understand that part.
But my take is that if a sport has a choice to either gear towards hand-eye coordination skills or towards strength/endurance skills, then - everything else being equal - the latter causes bigger PED risks. Not saying the risks are nil in the hand-eye coordination case but the risk/reward of taking PEDs will probably be better if the sport focuses on strength/endurance.

Fair point SB
Doesn't WADA have rules/regulations etc. on this stuff though?
