Re: The end of Stan the Man?
Wow. This is quite a blow one would think. Took Stan's game to another level developing the FH and serve and making them much more powerful and potent weapons. Respect to Norman in terms of timing by giving Stan enough time should he need to, find a replacement before the start of the new season.
I hope this doesn't have too much of an impact on Stan. He has come along way and needs to remember it was him who embraced the changes in his game developed by Norman and will still have those tools. Be interesting to see who he goes for next and if at all he does really need anyone else. Avoid Rasheed!! Cahill would make perfect sense from latter career perspective, but other than that really struggling to think of anyone.
If Norman is calling it a day completely from a coaching perspective, makes me wonder what could've been achieved with a fit and healthy Soderling. Felt like that was on the cusp of being something quite magical.
