Well, you should do, considering you claim fitness is by far the most important thing in tennis.  How did Wawrinka ever win?

What don't you (want to) understand?

OK, let me make it real simple for you.  If Murray is far superior to Wawrinka in fitness - how did he lose a 5th set so badly.

And what isn't simple and clear enough for you in my last 20 posts?

Born Slippy said the stats showed Stan only ran 100m less, which is not that much.
So what is your answer?

Why are you answering questions with questions.  Oh, that's right... because you don't have any answers.

We have seen your tactics before versus other members here. They have all witnessed it. When you are cornered you come up with questions which have been dealt at length....purposefully failing to understand. Sorry i can't help you.

It's not that hard, answer the question:
-Why did Murray tire more than Stan?
-Murray ran 100m more, was it that?

Forget the 100m. Even if they covered the same distance, Murray would have burned more calories.

a. Stan hits a faster ball, so Murray covers the distance constantly at full speed. That's the essence of dictating the game: make the opponant run faster than you need to. This is more relevant than the distance
b. Murray muscles the ball, Stan hits freely through the ball, which is much more efficient

Exactly....and even more so the frame between the 2 is so different 1m92 v 1m83 that covering the same diatance would make huge difference in calories burning...and 100m more could well be 5% more running ...quite a bit at this level.
