Men's matches cancelled for today.

What a strange RG this has been.
Day ten and I can't remember a single match.

Most memorable were people who didn't turn up.. Federer, Sharapova and Agassi....

Not a fan of Mladenovic, a bit of a peasant.

The annoying thing is, not only are women paid the same or more than men, they get to play in better slots.

I can't work out why organisers have women forst, knowing men play longer matches and are not likely to finish on the day.

In these times of hard-core capitalism, I find all this talk of equality a joke.

i have to agree with you i dont think that the women deserve equal prize money, they only play best of 3 sets
theres no difference in challenge between an average wta tournament and a grand slam
doesnt make sense, but the womans game is so weak anyway, very few of them would be able to cope playing best of 5 sets

Women's game has become too physical. It is impossible to play all court tennis for them now.

They are too tall and big, all baseline hitting. The only variation is who hits the ball cleaner.

Gone are the days of JJ, Henin, Clijsters...

Women should not play best of five full stop.

We don't have testosterone running through us.

They should revert to wooden racquets. That would fix everything.

It's because the women's matches are seen as the warm up act. If they put the ladies on second, there would often be vast numbers of empty seats, particularly if it was a long Mens match beforehand.

Correct. So one may question why the starter is as expensive as the "plat de resistance" (main course).

Because women's tennis feeds off men's tennis. And everyone knows it - but we're run by left wing freaks who force this on us.
