Premier League Here We Come!

Post by legendkillar on Tue Apr 18, 2017 2:38 pm

Ol LK is a Brighton lad born and bred and yesterday's events were simply amazing. The whole city is in lockdown party mode at the moment. Unbelievable achievement for the club given 20 years earlier nearly went out of the football league and spent a couple of years starving off the non-league trapdoor.

Remembered when in 2000 they achieved back to back promotions from the Div 3 to Div 1. Baby steps became giant steps and hence we were relegated from Div 1 after a season. Eventually we did stabilise ourselves in the newly christened Championship and now Brighton are reaping the rewards for getting things structured properly off the field. Which is paramount. There is an air of stability and harmony that radiates from the club. Happy times indeed!
