Davis Cup 2017

Post by legendkillar on Thu Sep 22, 2016 3:05 pm

The draw is out for the first round of matches:

Argentina v Italy
Germany v Belgium
Australia v Czech Republic
USA v Switzerland
Japan v France
Canada v Great Britain
Serbia v Russia
Croatia v Spain

What are peoples thoughts? Some very interesting matches. Argentina/Italy, Croatia/Spain and Japan/France look like the pick of the bunch.

It might look good on paper but again those top players don't always commit to the DC.

I think France will win it next year! Cool

Stick that in your 2017 predictions Winking

I was of the belief if GB had retained the DC that Murray and Smith would've called time on their DC careers.

Looking at the draw, a France/Spain semi is looking quite favourable and an Australia/Italy semi.
