Who is more likely to get CGS: Wawrinka or Murray?

I would say Wawrinka will win Wimbledon 2017 and Murray won't win RG, maybe not even AO. If that happens, Wawrinka will become greater than Murray, since CGS > no CGS, despite all of the achievements which Murray has over Wawrinka.

What do you think?

wawrinka is definitely closer to achieving it then murray
i could see wawrinka winning wimbledon,i dont think that that is a far strecth
were as murray winning both AO and RG,thats a tall order

I doubt either will make it. Grass is Stan's worst surface (never past the QF). His swings are too long to excel on faster surfaces and his return becomes very weak. He's exited in R1/R2 5 times in the last 7 years. 

Murray has slightly more chance. He's only been stopped by Novak at both Oz and RG in the last two years. If he was to dethrone Novak in Oz, he'd surely then be favourite for the French. I still think it's very unlikely though.

That's an easy one. Murray is more likely to win the FO than Stan winning Wimbledon. Twice Murray was stopped by Djoko.....so if DJoko has not recovered his form....Murray is next to grab it.....though many things can happen by then.

but murray hasnt won AO,so he will need to win 2 majors where as stan only needs to win 1
i could see murray winning another major but i struggle to see him winning another 
also stan was never expected to win any of the majors he did,but he did,all 3 wins were a surprise win,thats why i think that he could also pull one off at wimbledon if he is playing in the zone

Oh I see...I did not realise that. Still Murray has been much more consistent than Stan and I woudl still fancy Murray's chances.....just a little less so than if he had only the French to win.

I however think Murray will have lots of pressure next year and probably don't fancy him to cope iwth it well.

totally agree with that,i think he is really going to struggle coping with the pressure of being world no1

if murray doesnt win the 2017 AO the i dont think he ever will win it
im still very skeptical of him win RG

With Nole sacking Becker, Murray has the door wide open now.

The only thing is, he is not as good as Nole and just doesn't have the game to dominate, so none of those slams are a guarantee for him.

Next year should be a free for all...
