I'm not playing the game - just putting predictions up with confidence level.

Federer 70%
Kyrgios 51%
Tsonga 60%
Querrey 70%
Cilic 60%
Pouille 60%
Vesely 55%
Raonic 80%

I am most concerned with Federer...  I put 70% but I just get a bad feeling about his draw in general.  Johnson can win.
Goffin has played really well, but Raonic has served the best the entire tournament. Breaking him will not be easy.

Kyrgios is far better than what he is showing. Murray is just a pusher - which is why Federer and Djokovic and Nadal whip his arse in the bigger matches.

Murray lacks in skill, but makes up for it with intelligence and smart play. He always does some serious homework before playing his next opponent and plays his game accordingly. He doesn't try to get high like Krygios trying to hit some really insane shots. He knows that those are small % shots and no matter how spectacular that looks, it only gets 1 point. He is clearly fine taking a point, no matter how it comes.

Such a player looks pathetic on court. But he doesn't care. All it matters to him is to get a win.

When a player like Kygrios hits top form, Murray will have no answer for it. There isn't an answer for it. The bad news is Kyrgios doesn't keep up his best play.

Unless Kyrgios gets his head right, Murray will always be too smart for him. Don't you see how clueless Murray is making kyrgios look? He has no idea what will murray do, and there is nothing he can do to prevent him.

Kyrgios goes for strange, crazy shots, some go in and there is high he gets. But in Pro-tennis such play is not worth. Its not an exhibition match.

He also lacks in variety, all he can do is stay back on baseline. At the net, he is totally  clueless.

Once a player like Kyrgios paints the lines relentlessly and keeps his 1st serve high, Murray has no game plan that will work. Anything less and the issue then becomes Kyrgios being drawn into Murray's game, which is what happened today.

But Kyrgios' best is better than Murray's.

Bit odd McEnroe was commentating on Murray whilst his new charge was 2-0 down vs Goffin. He came back but still.

He will be better than Murray but he is not yet. Yes again we saw the match live (not that it is any different than on tv) but Murray was certainly retrieving most of the time.

Kyrgios has a long way to go before he wins anything significant.
Engaging his brain would be a good start.

We saw Pouile Tomic as well....well the 3rd set which Lucas coudl have won...but lost.

Extremely impressive shots Lucas. He can really inject pace. he is one year younger than Tomic but has more potential. Strange it took him so long to finally challenge the top 20.

Also, getting mighty sick of nishikori falling apart physically later in tournaments.

He had some rib injury hampering him for some time. I think this affected his clay tournaments too..

I just hope he doesn't fall away like Delpo. Djokovic is virtually playing alone and setting all slam records beating Murray Doh.

It could be his coach that didn't want to put pressure on him but sheltered him guiding him gently.

Just look at Rubi - he may be struggling because of that pressure - being the next big thing...esp as he won Russia a DC tie against Italy last year.

To most, Lucas will have come out of nowhere, but there he is...in the last 8 at Wimbledon!
Not Zverev, not Fritz, not Edmund etc...

I bet most tennis fans don't know even what he looks like.

I'll have berdych in the QF against Murray... Pouille is too naive for Murray..

We know Berdych would choke. So he is useless. Remember his only slam (Wimbledon) against Nadal in 2010?

I think Pouille would cope well...even though he may be naive for Murray.

Berdych might not even get to play Pouille, I'd prefer Vesely.
Give young players hope and chance.

We have all had enough of Berdych & Ferrer in the QFs and SFs, haven't we?

Yes, probably but the good thing about Pouille is that he has almost no weakness...bar his mind as he is still going through his first finals. He has a great serve, good FH, good Bh and more importantly does not hesitate to finish the point at the net. Which means Murray's tactic to stand back with defensive shots can be seriously exposed.

But yes, Berdych might be the better bet...thouhg he is not in the 1/4F yet!....let alone semi!
